Schedule Request Rules

  • Schedule Requests are for one or two consecutive days off on schedules that have not yet been posted.
  • Blackout dates: Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving. Additional blackout dates may be announced as needed.
  • A request that includes a blackout date requires a manager-approved exception before it can be submitted.
  • Submission is a request only and does not mean the day off is approved.
A request is not automatically approved. Staffing needs, other employees' requests, and business needs must be considered. Once a schedule is posted, a change is a trade and requires manager approval.
