Disability Insurance

Colonial's Short Term Disability Insurance replaces a portion of your income if you become unable to work because of an illness or injury. This income can help pay your rent or mortgage, utility bills and other household expenses. These tax-free benefits are paid directly to you. Weekly premiums, for a $1,000 monthly benefit, start as low as $4.13.

Accident Insurance

Accidents happen in places where you and your family spend the most time - in the home or during sports and leisure activities. Colonial's Accident Insurance is designed to help see you through the different stages of care. The tax-free benefits are paid directly to you. Weekly premiums start as low as $3.33 to cover yourself only or $5.32 for yourself and dependent children.

Critical Illness

Designed to supplement major medical coverage. Benefits are payable upon diagnosis and range from $5,000 to $75,000 depending on the level of coverage you choose. Critical illnesses covered include Heart Attack, Stroke, Cancer, Blindness, Paralysis, Coma, Kidney failure and Major Organ transplant. Weekly premiums start as low as $.92 for yourself and $1.84 for yourself and spouse.

Hospital Confinement Indemnity Insurance

As major medical plans move towards larger deductibles and higher co-payments, you may be left with more gaps to fill. Colonial Life's Hospital Confinement Indemnity Plan can help protect against those out-of-pocket expenses. Weekly premiums start as low as $3.12 for yourself, and $5.34 for yourself and dependent children.

Term Life Insurance

Colonial's Term Life Insurance will allow you to purchase a large amount of insurance for a very small premium because while you are young to middle age, your needs for life insurance are much greater because of home mortgages and raising children, which means you can be assured that your family will be well taken care of in the event that you die prematurely. The real benefit to you is that your family won't have to change their lifestyle in your absence. Spouse and children may be covered as well. Weekly premiums for $50,000 on a 35-year-old non-smoker are just $2.42.

Whole Life Insurance

Colonial's Whole Life Insurance policy allows you to purchase a permanent policy that builds cash value with a level guaranteed premium and you can even borrow against the cash value. In addition, a Long-Term Care benefit is available that can be used to help offset the cost of nursing home and home care. The real benefit to you is that you can have peace of mind that your family will not be left with a financial burden. Spouse and children may be covered as well. Weekly premiums for $25,000 on a 35-year-old non-smoker are just $6.92.
