of the Server/Cook position in George Webb restaurant operations. The description

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Greet customers promptly and take orders accurately using the POS system.
- Provide friendly and attentive service throughout the customer’s visit.
- Handle payments and ensure accurate cash and credit card transactions.
- Clear and reset tables to maintain a clean and welcoming dining area.
Food Preparation and Expediting
- Prepare food orders quickly and consistently following standardized recipes.
- Ensure food is properly portioned, cooked, and presented.
- Assist with food delivery from the kitchen to customers as needed.
- Step in as a runner when necessary to help expedite orders.
Team Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient service.
- Adapt to different duties during a shift including cooking, serving, running food, dishwashing, stocking, and cleaning.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and dining areas.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to switch between customer service and food preparation duties as needed.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Friendly, positive attitude with a focus on excellent customer service.
- Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to understand and follow workplace and food safety procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, or relevant experience.

Physical Requirements
Due to the nature of restaurant operations, employees must be able to perform
physical tasks that include:
- Standing and moving continuously throughout most or all of the shift, typically up to 8 hours or more, except for normal short breaks or brief task-related pauses.
- Walking repeatedly between kitchen, counter, and dining areas during the shift.
- Bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and squatting to retrieve supplies and clean work areas.
- Using hands and fingers continuously for food preparation, operating equipment, handling dishes, and using the POS system.
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling items such as food products, dishes, and supplies, generally up to 25 pounds.
- Performing repetitive motions such as slicing, assembling food orders, lifting plates, and entering orders into the POS system.
- Working in a fast-paced restaurant environment that may include heat from cooking equipment, noise, and frequent activity.
- Communicating clearly with coworkers and customers in a busy service environment.
